Online application is the best way to use SEMAFOR home. It allows all 3 parts (forms) to be filled in on the spot where the evaluation takes place.
Once the password has been received, the appropriate number of blank forms appears on the Order Form tab to be filled in by the evaluator.
When completing forms, the evaluator moves from left to right. First, he/she will fill in the entry (=introductory) form.

In the next step the evaluator submits to the client the subjective questionnaire (can be filled in by the client on-line or a printed PDF form filled in by the client manually transforms the evaluator into the electronic form and at the same time becomes acquainted with the attitude of the client who expressed his/her satisfaction with the individual activities related to the respective household sections).

The core part of the methodology is the objective questionnaire. Here the evaluator proceeds according to the individual questions related to one of the 12 household´s sections. Depending on the architecture of the apartment, it is possible to jump some section and come back later - checking the complete filling of the objective form is done before its closure.

Once the forms have been filled in, the order form changes its status from the red "fill" to the green "filled in". During filling in the process can be interrupted and the questionnaire will be saved which will be reflected in the orange description on this tab saying “elaborated”.
After completing all three parts of the methodology there is a 24-hour period to adjust the forms in case the evaluator retrospectively recalls some facts that he/she would like to add. After this interval all forms are closed and can no longer be edited. The status is then marked in red as "Closed" and at the end of the line it appears in the Protocol box either Download PDF or Print.
The final report then summarizes the results of all three questionnaires including interactive links to the relevant photo documentation.
Both the initial page of the report, which summarizes the results, and the objective questionnaire in Annex 2 of the protocol, furthermore distinguish the individual barriers according to their severity:
Red - the most serious barriers
Orange - medium barriers
Green - barriers less serious
Unpainted boxes - not a barrier, or not relevant for a given household
